Ahli gizi Libby Limon mengatakan, komponen aktif daun ini dapat mendukung segala sesuatu mulai dari pencernaan hingga sistem kekebalan, keseimbangan gula darah dan kolesterol. Enzim dan serat yang dikandungnya bahkan dapat membantu menyerap nutrisi dari makanan lain dengan lebih baik. Mungkin saja bisa meningkatkan manfaat yang diperoleh dari sisa makanan sehat lainnya.Teh hijau Libby Limon menjelaskan, teh hijau baik untuk keseimbangan hormon, manajemen berat badan, detoksifikasi hati, sumber anti-oksidan dan pengurangan risiko pengembangan penyakit. Menurut dia, sudah ada banyak teh berkualitas rendah (teroksidasi dan non-organik) di pasaran. Namun sayangnya, ini kurang mendapatkan pemahaman tentang cara terbaik untuk menyiapkannya. “Sehingga orang cenderung tidak meminumnya karena rasanya tidak enak,” ujar Libby.Telur Telur dapat disebut sebagai salah satu makanan paling bergizi di planet ini. Sereal gandum seperti gandum, roti gandum dan beras merah serta buah dan sayuran adalah sumber yang sangat bagus, tapi favorit saya adalah kacang dan kacang polong,” ujar Joe. Menurut dia, kandungan serat penting untuk kesehatan pencernaan seperti mencegah sembelit, menurunkan kadar kolesterol dan juga terkait dengan mengurangi peradangan. Bahkan, dapat mengurangi risiko beberapa jenis kanker dan perbaikan pada sistem kekebalan tubuh.
