Tips Mengurangi Dampak Buruk High Heels Mengenakan sepatu high heels atau sepatu berhak tinggi saat sedang bepergian keluar rumah atau ketika pergi ke kantor, mungkin menjadi sebuah kebiasaan yang sering dilakukan oleh kaum wanita. Apalagi sebagian menganggap, dengan mengenakan sepatu berhak tinggi kepercayaan dirinya bertambah terutama bagi wanita yang cenderung memiliki ukuran tubuh cenderung pendek.
Mengenakan hak tinggi sebagai penunjang penampilan dirasa sah-sah saja, akan tetapi kita perlu memperhatikan dampaknya bagi tubuh. Terutama jika di bagian betis dan kaki sudah timbul varises, kerap merasakan pegal di bagian pinggul, tumit dan gangguan kesehatan lainnya. Sebab, menurut spesialis kulit dan kelamin, RS Siloam TB Simatupang Jakarta, dr. Fitria Amalia Umar, SpKK wanita tidak boleh terlalu sering mengenakan sepatu hak tinggi.
“Tekanan pada tumit yang menopang berat badan, bisa menyebabkan pembuluh darah kita tersumbat. Sehingga aliran darah balik ke jantung otomatis juga tidak lancar, akibatnya timbul rangkaian bercak mirip urat-urat tipis berwarna-warni muncul di bagian kaki bawah. Dilihat secara estetika jelas ini tidak sedap dipandang mata,” jelas Fitria.
Untuk itu, bagi wanita yang diharuskan mengenakan sepatu berhak tinggi sehari-hari ia menyarankan agar mereka harus rajin melepas sepatunya ketika ada waktu beristirahat. Melakukan stretching atau pemanasan juga penting dilakukan agar urat dan otot di bagian tumit atau kaki tidak kaku, sehingga rentan menimbulkan sumbatan pada pembuluh darah.
Ada baiknya jika wanita senantiasa juga harus selalu membatasi penggunaan sepatu hak tinggi dan kegiatan berdiri statis. Karena, menurut dr. Ade Sri Wahyuni, SpRM, selaku pakar nyeri dari Klinik Nyeri dan Tulang Belakang Jakarta selain dapat menimbulkan masalah varises kegiatan berdiri statis mengenakan sepatu hak tinggi ini tanpa disadari juga dapat meningkatkan beban otot lutut sehingga menimbulkan cidera ligamen.
“Stretching atau peregangan penting dilakukan bagi pekerja yang diwajibkan mengenakan sepatu hak tinggi setiap harinya. Meski begitu, banyak pula mitos yang beredar bahwa mengenakan sepatu hak tinggi bisa meningkatkan gangguan keputihan. Tapi, faktanya hal tersebut tidak ada hubungannya dengan gangguan keputihan. Namun, kita tetap harus membatasi dalam mengenakan sepatu hak tinggi demi kesehatan otot kaki dan kelancaran peredaran darah,” kata dia.
