Wapres Beri Angin Segar Soal Mobil Listrik Teknologi ramah lingkungan saat ini masih menjadi topik dalam membangun industri otomotif Indonesia dimasa depan. Dari mesin berstandar Euro 4, hybrid sampai yang sudah dicanangkan oleh Presiden Joko Widodo, mobil listrik. Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla, mengakui bahwa tantangan selanjutnya bagi industri otomotif nasional bukan sekedar pada kendaraan seperti saat ini, melainkan juga harus ramah lingkungan. "Dunia ini ada dua hal yang bersifat universal yang menjadi perjuangan semua orang, yaitu demokrasi dan lingkungan. Pengembangan mobil listrik dan hibrid merupakan tantangan yang harus dijalankan," kata Kalla di Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2017, BSD, Tangerang, Jum'at (11/8). Pengembangannya, menurut dia, tentunya bukan hanya menjadi tanggungjawab perakit kendaraan atau produsen. Tiap pemangku kepentingan, juga turut berperan untuk merealisasikan kendaraan tersebut.
Sehingga, Kalla berjanji, ke depan bakal ada kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh pemerintah untuk menunjang kendaraan, baik hibrid maupun listrik. "Pengembangan mobil listrik dan hibrid merupakan tantangan yang harus dijalankan. Bagi Indonesia ini kebijakan pemerintah. Pemerintah akan beri kemudahan dan aturan yang baik untuk mobil listrik," kata dia. Ia berujar, bakal ada beberapa keringanan yang dijanjikan untuk kendaraan ramah lingkungan. Walau Kalla sendiri, tidak menjelaskan secar detail mengenai jumlah pasti yang akan diperoleh terkait insentif kepada produsen. "Bea masuk, komponennya, PPnBMnya. Mobil listrik artinya, pemakaian bahan bakar kan menurun, bbm ini musti disubsidi, berarti mengurangi dua konsumen subsidi," kata dia. Infrastruktur dan Target 2025 Menyoal mobil listrik, JK mengaku sejauh ini pemerintah ke depannya sudah menyiapkan sumber asupan tenaga. Salah satu langkahnya ialah pembangunan sumber listrik berkekuatan 35 ribu megawatt yang rencananya akan dilakukan setiap tahun. "Tantangan sumber daya listriknya. Bayangkan kalau tiap malam dua juta mobil yang dicharge berapa megawatt yang dibutuhkan. Belum lagi 250 juta ponsel dicharge pada saat yang sama tentu kebutuhan listrik akan melonjak," ungkapnya.
Jadi, kata dia, apabila tujuh tahun mendatang sudah mulai terlaksana, sudah dapat mengakomodir permintaan listrik, baik untuk kebutuhan kendaraan maupun dalam keseharian. "Maka tidak ada lagi peak hour. Karena setiap saatpeak hour karena adanya charger mobil di seluruh Indonesia. Maka infrastruktur kami juga harus siap dan teknologi akan dicapai lebih murah lagi," kata dia. Sementara, untuk infrastruktur, khususnya di kota besar seperti DKI Jakarta, hinca mini proses pembangunan akan terus berlangusn. Bagi JK, pembangunan infrastruktur apalagi yang mengarah ke luar daerah dapat meningkatkan daya beli masyarakat terhadap kendaraan. "Pembangunan infrastuktur keluar daerah meningkatkan penjualan mobil. Perbaikan infrastruktur ekonomi naik, ekonomi baik, orang akan beli mobil," ujar dia. Politisi Partai Golkar itu melanjutkan, pada 2025 mendatang diproyesikan ada 20 persen mobil listrik sudah mulai mengaspal. Mengingat, pengembangan mobil hibrid dan diikuti beberapa purwarupa kendaraan listrik yang hinna kini sudah ada. "Ya tadi kan sudah banyak konsepnya, prototipenya, dari hibrid ke elektrik itu perkembangnnya. Dan ini targetnya 2025 sudah 20 persen," kata Kalla.
